The first hut was built in 1920 near Látaná valley but after 6 years it burned down. The new hut was devastated in WW2. Another hut was finally opened in 1951. Today's visitors can enjoy a beautiful landscape of Western Tatras and the main trail to Roháč´s ridge.
Mountain hut has 10 rooms and 7 log cabins which are few meters away from the hut. The hut has also a restaurant with 44 places.
